Collaborative work with Maids Moreton Hall Care Home

In September 2018, we embarked upon a collaborative project with Maids Moreton Hall Care Home. The project is designed to be mutually beneficial to both residents and children, promoting positive intergenerational social interaction and supporting the wellbeing of both groups. We run a full programme of activities over the year including art workshops, singing, dancing, story telling, cooking, gardening and crafts, with all children having the opportunity to attend.  Care home residents are also invited to our Harvest, Easter, Christmas and May Day events and we sing Carols at the care home in the lead up to Christmas. We gain so much from our collaboration with the Care Home and feel our children and the residents benefit enormously from the opportunities this brings.
