Maids Moreton Now and Then Week

The children had a fascinating time learning all about Maids Moreton and how it has changed over the ages. We learned about the history of the school by looking at old photographs, reading the old school log books and examining the old school punishment book! We also walked around the village, learning about its history and how it has changed over time. We examined the old houses in Main Street, undertook population studies, made maps and guide books and visited the conservation area to spot wild flowers. The  In the latter part of the week, we visited the Old Gaol to learn more about the history of our local area.
