Platinum Jubilee Focus Week

In June 2022, we held a special week to coincide with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We learned all about the Queen's life and reign as well as learning about the Royal family. The children made commemorative plates, wrote Coronation newspaper reports, made Royal family trees, made trifles, sewed Union Jacks and learned the words to the National Anthem. The week concluded with a special Jubilee tea party where the winners of the Jubilee Bake-Off competition were announced. We even got to meet "The Queen!". Each child took home a Platinum Jubilee medal as a momento.
