Julia Donaldson Focus Week

Throughout our February Focus Week our work centred around the stories of Julia Donaldson. The children enjoyed reading famous Julia Donaldson stories including The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's Child, Room on the Broom, Tiddler, The Snail and the Whale, Follow the Swallow, The Paper Dolls, Charlie Cook's Favourite Book and Jack and the Flum Flum Tree. The children enjoyed all the cross curricular learning opportunities on offer, which included art, technology, music, ICT, geography, outdoor learning, PSHCE, Forest Schools, maths and English. They also found out about Julia Donaldson herself and wrote letters to her.
